Marlaine's orphanages in Jacmel, Haiti need your help!
1. Marlaine Alix in Jacmel, Haiti with one of her workers as they work on construction of the boys' orphanage (right). 2. The girl's building sits behind the boy's building and is shown after the hurricane a few months ago. The damage was estimated at $50,000. We are sending building materials, appliances, food and clothing to help Marlaine. So far we have collected enough items to fill half of our 40 ft container that we hope to send to Marlaine very soon. She takes care of 70+ children in her orphanages in Jacmel and hundreds of other children in the schools, orphanages, and churches that she and her husband have founded and that others are running. That takes a lot of food and LOVE. Jerry will go soon to help them build their kitchens and bathrooms.
